I'll meet ya in Harrisburg... I'd say about $500 in cash for steel case, $1k for brass. Send me a PM.

Never had 9mm cuz I had too many different calibers already. Didn't get into it. Nor 16 gauge come to think of it.
Concerning the others I must check the spreadsheet one of these days and decide if I want to unload any more.

Having read a ton on the subject, I've come to two conclusions on what is enough:

Short term: The maximum you can carry on your person. (I currently carry a full-size 9mm 15+1 plus 2x20-round mags, so that's 56 rounds; admittedly I usually carry a (13+1)+2x13=40 but these are unusual times); this is per gun, so if you carry a BUG (or back-up person!), they have their own rules too!
Long term: Enough to hold off the zombie apocalypse (1,000+ minimum)

Obviously rifle mags/capacities will be higher.

I usually buy 1,000 at a time (Federal HST for me) to keep things cost effective. I also do the same for "range" ammo.

Opinions are like assholes...everyone's got one, but between those two is a lot of ground.

At his point don't buy into the hype and wait till this manufactured crisis is over before you stock up on ammo. This one is not going to be the end of the world so for now just keep your head down (and stay at home more).

But you have been warned.......the next time this happens and you don't have enough ammo (or firearms) cry me a river. No one will care. It will be your fault

Thank God for spreadsheets, otherwise this would quickly get out of hand. Some folks have spreadsheets for commercial ammo, reloaded ammo, projectiles, mags & clips, primers, powder, new brass, tumbled brass, etc

Every year I get $100 gift cards for cabelas ( don't shop there allot), anyway they are the only place I can get beowolf 50 cal ammo without jumping thru hoops, pricey but, have it on hand most of the time, three month wait sometimes. I get 3 or four boxes and never shoot it, just store. Last run on ammo, this shit was pulling in $100 a box of 20 rounds.

If stored right, you wont loose money if you bought too much. My problem is whats too much..After seeing 00 buckshot gone on the web I checked mine..
