Re: PA Counties locked down
It kind of looks like Josh deems outright refusal to obey illegal and that a work-around is in order. I say fuck Wolf and let's just disobey. This has to be killing the douche in Harrisburg, he's got a genuine mutiny on his hands.

Re: PA Counties locked down
President Trump supports Pennsylvania Counties opening earlier than Comrade Tom Wolf wants.

Re: PA Counties locked down
So what, are they using the insurance angle to stong arm businesses now?
I caught something of that order, or at least it sounded like it on the radio awhile ago.

I do not know, but I like the way your are thinking. Wouldn't that be a splendid kick in the ass to all the Blue Governors.
Today would be as good a day as any to contact your legislators and encourage them to keep up the pressure. It would help if they knew voters had their backs. Wolf is going to drag PA into the same budget crisis as Cuomo had BEFORE the virus. We should fully open in the next two weeks with some protection offered for workers at high risk like fragile immune systems, advance age, diabetes.
More and longer lasting destruction and misery follows a cratered economy that this flu will ever produce.

Re: PA Counties locked down
In a news release issued soon after he made his comments, the Wolf administration said the following about counties “that do not abide by the law to remain closed”:
Counties will not be eligible for federal stimulus discretionary funds the state receives and intends to provide to counties with populations of fewer than 500,000.
Businesses in counties that do not abide by the law will no longer be eligible for business liability insurance and the protections it provides.
Restaurants that reopen for dine-in service in counties that have not been authorized to reopen will be at risk of losing their liquor license.
County residents receiving unemployment compensation will be able to continue to receive benefits even if their employer reopens. Employees may choose not to return out of concern for personal safety and safety of co-workers.Last edited by God's Country; May 11th, 2020 at 05:17 PM.

Counties can tell Governor Bungle to screw off because they believe he is only doing this to get Federal money. Governor Bungle will good on a lamp post.
