Its almost like they want more to spread to the surrounding areas

I agree with all of you about your right to go about unconsciously and maybe contract COVID-19, you might even help mother nature thin the heard. But not your right to spread it indiscriminately to other people.

    You know that.
I disagree. Going to work or even simply going out for essential reasons, I have zero chance of overdosing. I have a much better chance of getting Covid 19.

Would we have to be unconscious? The methodology to not contract the virus is pretty well known should you be concerned about coming into contact with it should you decide to go about unconsciously.

This country was founded on Freedom. The laws were premised on Irresponsible Acts. But, more and more,
the laws are based on Mights & Maybes, and thought crimes are becoming prevalent.

These are destructive of the essence of our country. The foundational Freedoms of self-determination
and self-reliance (attendant in the Bill of Rights) are being replaced by socialist mandates.

Everyone ought to be respectful of other people. By choice, if you are infected, get treatment. If you
have symptoms, or think you've been exposed to it, self-isolate for the benefit of others.

Let those who are afraid, stay locked up - Their life - Their Choice.

However, just as responsibly, let others choose to go on with their lives by their own personal choice.
Respect the choice of others to deal with any elevated risk of being out, working and living life.

It's not the promotion of the idea of protecting yourself and others from the effects of the virus that is
a problem --- THE PROBLEM IS AN EDICT which destroys the American way of life.

Americans need to be prepared for the possibility that COVID-19 could become a seasonal disease, Dr. Anthony Fauci warned Wednesday.
But even with the ideal containment, the virus’s spread may have been inevitable. Testing people who are already extremely sick is an imperfect strategy if people can spread the virus without even feeling bad enough to stay home from work.

Lipsitch predicts that within the coming year, some 40 to 70 percent of people around the world will be infected with the virus that causes COVID-19. But, he clarifies emphatically, this does not mean that all will have severe illnesses. “It’s likely that many will have mild disease, or may be asymptomatic,” he said. As with influenza, which is often life-threatening to people with chronic health conditions and of older age, most cases pass without medical care. (Overall, about 14 percent of people with influenza have no symptoms.)
    <SNIP>

Many countries have responded with containment attempts, despite the dubious efficacy and inherent harms of China’s historically unprecedented crackdown. Certain containment measures will be appropriate, but widely banning travel, closing down cities, and hoarding resources are not realistic solutions for an outbreak that lasts years.

I'll repeat myself - After the hysterical damage is done, to the economy and the psyche, people will decide
they have to go on and live with the risk it represents. They will take reasonable precautions
and get on with their lives.

Which is exactly what they should have decided at the start of this whole unnecessary panic.

Yes Lancaster because of 20 verified cases... not deaths mind you just cases. I wish everyone would just give each other their 6 damn feet for a couple weeks and let this die down.

So is that how it is done? 20 cases in a county and everyone stays at home? So what is going to happen next week and the week after? Next Month? Eventually ALL counties will have over 20 people infected and there is nothing that will stop it. And after the peak it will take at least a year till we get back down to the number we have today. No one is going back to work on April 7.
