The curve has been flattened, time to move on.
The ChiCom Bat Flu is not as lethal as initially reported, time to move on.
You're still free to stay home and/or wear a mask, time to move on.
Lives and businesses have been ruined, time to move on.
The tyrants have shown their colors, time to move on.

The only common denominator here is - time to move on!

It's too soon to open businesses yet, not every company has gone bankrupt.

I'm sure they'll be adjusted to fit the narrative.

This is absolutely right and is what I tell the nimrods on fakebook when they try to make the claim, it began a couple of days ago when the numbers got 'adjusted'.

Interesting comment I saw to an article about the shutdowns:

Think Critically - What U.S. Political Party has Benefited from this Virus Scare? DEMOCRATS!

    1. How do you harm President Trump’s and Republicans booming economy?
    2. How do you propose a “Vote by Mail” if there isn’t a pandemic?
    3. How do you eliminate President Trump’s highly effective rallies and voter excitement?
    4. How do you massively increase unemployment to hurt the Presidents economic progress?
    5. How do you shelter Joe Biden from embarrassing debates with Trump?
    6. How do you shelter corruption investigations by closing down the FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) offices?
    7. How do you limit the Constitutional Rights of the people in one move?
    8. How do you provide cover for State Governments to change voting laws?
    9. How do you effectively control the population?
    10. How do you expand big tech over reach re: tracking cell phones, drones used to observe and track citizens?
    11. How do you immediately create dependence on government by handing out “free money.”
    12. How do you keep people in fear by forcing them to shelter in place, no contact with others......

And there is no way to prove that they did help. With the way I have seen people using face masks totally incorrectly, who knows whether it helped or not.

Guaranteed though, if Covid reappears with the regular flu season in the fall, it is going to be all because of the election and not normal infection patterns.

Not that I don’t doubt that certain political forces are using the situation for their benefit, just like lager1829 post above explains.
