One of the guys was shot in the back, that may not play out well for the store owner depending on how that happened.

If it comes to it I volunteer for jury duty in this case. No, that will never work the persecuter would never let me on the jury.

    Same here...

He was shot at so that will probably help his case quite a bit.

I hate how news stations spin everything. Just give me the facts and let me come to my own decisions.

The anchorwoman at the clip above (I don't know her name) says " ... local diner owner taking matters in to his own hands ..."

and then when they cut away to the live reporter Matt O'Donnell who goes on to say "You can call this street justice out on ..."

They did the same kind of thing last year when the pawn shop in Croydon was robbed. That kind of sensationalism pisses me off.

I think I peed my pants a little when I watched that.

    One for the good guys.
Yes, folks the store owner IS the good guy in this story.
I certainly don't find great joy in people dying, but I do find joy in the fact that the store owner was ABLE to protect himself and his family from harm.

I feel bad for the man for NEEDING to do what he did.
He will certainly be labeled many things by the media and their gun-hating friends, while the criminals receive the sympathy.

At the end of the clip the reporter said police concluded the investigation into the owner and that he was defending himself. So hopefully it looks good for the owner.

I almost expected more dramatic words. They reporters were better than I expected, kinda scary to say.

I'm glad you the store owner had a permit for that gun. ahhhhhhhhhh

Yep, love to hear when things go right for the good guy. I'm amazed the news even covered it. I mean, hey, that pistol was used legally to defend himself. Why would they want to show stuff like that. Chalk one up for the good guys.

Oops, I should have looked for this topic before I posted a copy of the news story. Remember the media only presents an aspect of the whole story. Like saying, 'Person shot in Store'. There is always more to every story than presented in the Press.
