No but it wouldn't surprise me and I think it's a good move. But they could accept exact change, which we place into a bag that they can write the date on and open it up in a week.

I’ve seen plenty of Facebook posts of people who have done the order and curbside pick up say many restaurants want payment over the phone via CC when the order is placed no cash accepted.

My brother had to take a sick animal to the vet this past week. They cone out to you and take the animal in, you wait in car, they bring diagnoses to you and you pay by CC only. The bring animal back to you.

Type this in google and there are many articles talking about stopping cash transactions going back 2 weeks.

Heh. You need to get up on modern technology.

1). Remote deposit check with phone app.

2). Transfer money from bank account to your phone payment platform of choice (Apple Pay Cash, Venmo, etc.).

3). Use your phone to buy whatever, whether retail or peer to peer.

How does " Transfer money from bank account" deposit his check? He doesn't want money OUT of his account. He wants money INTO his account.

Even without some crisis going on, I would feel uncomfortable having any less than $3K in cash outside of a bank at all times. Anything less would seem insufficient to me.

I wonder keeping cash at home is all that smart. Crooks might just think that and break in to get their hands on the cash they think people are keeping at home.
