Is this the Millennial definition of cash?

I hate cash, but I have a stash in case electronic means go down, and to satisfy boomers that won't deal in anything but cash.

Interestingly, the guy doing the tshirts won't do anything but a check. I had to search high and low for what few checks I have.

Even without some crisis going on, I would feel uncomfortable having any less than $3K in cash outside of a bank at all times. Anything less would seem insufficient to me.

I've been telling people to have some cash on hand...get smaller bills as well. Granted PM is better as it's a known value. Paper money might not be worth more than the paper it's printed on if things get truly bad.

I work for a CU and they won't let people into the branches and there is a daily cash limit that started this past Monday.

That's pretty much what I was thinking as well.

Yesterday I took enough out of my bank to get questioned. Since I am remodeling and dealing with multiple contractors, they will not be getting CC info. Don't know them like all the little local business I deal with on a regular basis. I told them and guess that was good enough for whatever reason they needed to know. Then they handed me a brown paper bag full of money. I asked, what no fancy locking bag? The girl just smiled.

I don't see cash going extinct in the near future and some people prefer or will only accept it. I expect people to be selling things that would otherwise not be for sale in the near future and cash in hand will render the best merchandise at the
    best prices.

For anything I sell, cash in hand will be required to render any merchandise.
