    Another clearance deal snagged.

Wasn't sure where to post it, so I figured it could be a good bump for this thread.

I already have head lamps for each vehicle's kit, but for five bucks? Why not?
I looked up how much batteries alone cost - $5 for a 10 pack! So I got 3 headlamps for the cost of the batteries alone. Ha
Toss one in the garage, one in the basement... sometimes a light that leaves your hands free comes in handy.

I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Nice find. Looks like they do red-only light too? I need a small handheld that can do red-only… just reminded me.

Btw, every time I go into what I think is your store, I look for you! 👍 someday…

    So who has a GBHB?
I drive 17 miles one way to work, its pretty rural so if the truck becomes unavailable, disabled or someone decides to take it while I was at work, I guess I would have no choice but to hike home, if SHTF the situation might become less friendly to free movement
90% of my GBH hike will take a few hours at best,on a good day. But what if you have to keep off the roads? or I am further out than work? or its at night?
I have a maxpedition jumbo sling bag with a Harbor freight padded black nylon waist belt sewn in loops to help distribute the load to my hips and legs and off my shoulder
    Stuff I have in it:
    Compass,
    Individual first aid kit
KaBar small 6" tanto on the shoulder pad
    fire stick + small bic
    millsurp OD poncho
cammo polar fleece blanket or camo pullover
1.5l metal water bottle with 9' of duct tape and electrical tape wrapped to the outside
Beretta 92 in an internal holster and 2 mags in mag holder on the outside
    clip on sunglasses
    bug spray
2 ziplock with trail mix (added in when things could get weird ( like now))
    headlight
    Gerber multi tool
    paracord
    Whats in your GBHB?
I keep extra ammo and emergency cash in my car. That’s about it for get back home stuff.

I should elaborate more ammo the better. I*ve seen combat vets say the guys that bring 3 mags run out and are out of luck. Having 30 shots in a shtf situation might as well bring a baseball bat. That little bit of ammo will be gone if an actual firefight happens. I keep a good amount in a locked box in my car trunk just in case.

Rookie numbers. 3 mags on a psa rock is 69 rounds.
