Re: Get back home bag
I bought 2 of these Guarddog IIIA bulletproof backpacks for my wife and I, a couple of years ago when they were on sale from woot.com. A quick search turns up a decent price at opticsplanet.com, $129.39 + free shipping.

Re: Get back home bag
Also, long deep tupperware-type containers make a great rifle scabbard sorta thing. The one i stole from my wife's kitchen pretects the end of the muzzle, my weapon light, & my laser pretty well inside the pack and conceals any "printing" I guess too.
I still can't get any pics to load. Trying... haF*S=k

Re: Get back home bag
At a pound and a half, possibly a bit heavy to add to a bag, but my thought from the start has been that if the bag is in a vehicle, nothing stopping you from having other bags/items too - if you have to head out on foot, you can easily add/subtract items you think you may need.
$7.95 or two for $10

Re: Get back home bag
Interesting add for the bag... But, if the mission dictates... Yes.
So, EM, I attended an Active Shooter response brief a couple weeks ago. So much good stuff and it was really well-done by the Allegheny County Sherriff's Office and a local PD in South Hills.... They mentioned something I hadn't included. Bolt Cutters... Well, they didnt actually tell the "average citizen" audience to pack bolt-cutters in their bags, but they did ask... "What happens when the exit is chained?"
Any recommendations for collapsible/capable bolt cutters?F*S=k

Re: Get back home bag
I saw bolt cutters mentioned by one YouTuber when I was watching vids to get ideas for crap to stuff in a pack.
I don't know of any type to suggest though.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

25' of string is probably not going to do you very far. I would recommend at least 100' of 550 paracord, can be had plenty of places for around $5. Much more useful than multiple 25' sections that you have to lash together.
