The problem is that you are trying to sell a Garand. The site is acting as it should by subtly encouraging you to keep it.

I had the same problem for a while and finally realized that the image size was too large. The pics I take with my phone are so large (the settings are already set for lowest resolution) that they can't be used to upload unless I crop them and resize them manually. The sweet spot is between 100k-200k per image.
