Im in Delco and no updates on the website as of today. No information on PSP website about any type of extension. Looks like the 6mo post expiration exception is in play?

I'm sure it is, just like vehicle registration and taxes.

At the beginning of April, the following was announced:
Permits that have expired on March 19, 2020 or later have been extended to May 30, 2020
There has been no additional info announced. Also, be aware that the "6 month grace period/exception" has been ruled by PA Superior Court to be a DEFENSE to be raised at trial if (when) charged, so there is a very real risk of arrest and charges, even it you clearly fall under that exception.

There are certainly cops and DA's who wash their hands like Pontius Pilate and charge the innocent, saying "we'll let the courts sort it out".

How in the hell that provision was cooked up and for what purpose escapes me. If it is a valid exception as a defense in trial, it sounds like a judge or jury can ignore the exception. If not, arrest and subsequent trial sure sounds like malicious prosecution to me.

Been saying this all along. We fight Pittsburgh on preemption but when Wolf lays a trap and its all sugary sweet everyone turns into whiney the poo. Woe to the poor bastard caught up in this president setting power grab.

The extension is phony. The requirements are a valid ltcf and you must carry it with you or your going to be sleeping in a strange bed.

All in compliance with the provisions guaranteed by the 2nd Amendment.

So much precedence has been set making the 2nd Amendment a mere poem of yesteryear, the entire constitution is in peril.
