    Default PA2A

    OK I'm going to consider PA2A "live" for all intents and purposes. I still have to learn my way around the back end of WordPress, and get familiar with the MyBB controls, but they're not far off of other PHP based sites.

    To make a long story short, we're going with a dual method of planning, attending, and communicating rallies: Social Media via the Facebook Page/Group, and having a non-social media place which is the WordPress site and forum.

    I will need people to help with both. I have PA_Robert signed up as an editor on the Facebook Page, that way he can create events and share them to the groups and all over social media, and I think I have a couple of poofers volunteering to help on the forum side.

    Some things of note: The PA2A forum will be sparse. The entire point of PA2A is now solely focused on planning, attending, and communicating rallies. You will not find many forums there, and it is not an alternative to PAFOA, AR15, or any other such forum. It's a central location focused on one thing, rallies in and around PA.

    With all of that said, here's the links (You can get to everything from the word press site);

    WordPress: https://pa2a.org/
    Forum: https://pa2a.org/forum/
    Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/pennsylvania2a/
    Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/PA2Aorg/

    Things are just getting started and there's some tweaking to be done to each of these, so be patient with me.

    Please don't rush over to the forums to sign up unless you're interested in rallies. Again, and I can't stress this enough, there isn't going to be much going on there outside of rally planning, attending, and communication.

    As a test, I published Bern's rally information to the word press and it came out great.

    One item of note, I think the registration email goes to spam a lot.

    Another clarification.

    The old PA2A forum was wiped out. You will need to register again.

    Likely it's because the sending address and the sending host don't match. The email is from a gmail account, but the mailing server is gcwebhosting.com. I doubt Google granted them permission to send on their behalf.

    Thanks for the insight! I'll add that to the list of things to see if I can get worked out. In the meantime, I think I made it clear in the registration question that one needs to check spam.
