Default Kathy Barnette for Congress PA 04

Madelaine,"Mad Maddy", Dean has a Republican opponent in the upcoming race for US House of Representatives, PA District 4, which covers MONTCO and part of Berks. Her name is Kathy Barnette and she has a fakebook page at Kathy Barnette for Congress PA 04. She is holding meet and greets around her area so if you'd like to meet the candidate follow her and attend one. She has one today at Cutillo's in Pottstown, which I will be attending. She's a black woman and not 'woe is me, I'm a black woman'. There was a large article on her in today's Mercury and her message sounds good (it's a hell of a lot better than Mad Maddy's). She is unopposed in the primary so she will be on the ballot in November.

And Kathy Barnette has an article about her in today's Pottstown Mercury. This woman understands the problems as they are and would be a lot better than Mad Maddy is. If you're in her area take a look at her and let's see if we can't get her elected.

She said she opposes legislation that would have police overseen by "outside groups like the ACLU and NAACP rather than by the people who live in those communities."

"I'm tired of white liberals coming into our community to tell us what our problems are," Barnette said. "We need a culture of respect not just within police departments, but within our own community."

That is a message that will resonate...

Its a great message. But the district was gerrymandered by the PA Supreme Court, so its an uphill battle for sure.

It resonates with you and me but probably not as well with those who want to blame someone else for their problems.

I will raise my hand and say that it also resonates with me. Too bad she wouldn't be here in the 6th District.. I would like to see Chrissy Houlahan get replaced by someone like her.
However, If she can oust Madelaine Dean... that would be fine by me.

Kathy Barnette vs Madeleine, Mad Maddy, Dean debate. For those in this district. This woman would make a phenomenal Representative.

And it's easily watchable at 1.25x

I met her at an event and heard her speak. She's 100% on our side. She has my vote.

Going to watch the debate video shortly, but I already know Kathy has my vote and I'm excited to cast it. Sadly I'm not sure of her chances...
