Zombie debt. Is the economy so bad collectors are going after the undead?
Well, not really, but this a good read for anyone dealing with illegal collection actions or trying to clean up a credit report.

Re: Zombie debt. Is the economy so bad collectors are going after the undead?
Heh, funny about 8 months ago a constable showed up here. He happened to also be a friend of mine. He served me with some crap from a law firm about some bill for a company I had never heard of before.
I ran into him a few weeks later and he asked what is was about. Told him I had never heard of them and had no clue what they were talking about. He said he is seeing more and more of this when serving people, they are like "who the F is this"
Needless to say I had my lawyer send them a letter demanding proof of this debt (which they must respond to with the proof within x amount of days) ... guess what? Never heard a thing from them!
