    Default 401 K loses?

So how bad did everyone do this quarter and this year overall?

Just got my Q3 statement, lost all the money I put in for the quarter and went - 203 for the overall. Luckily I have a loan out against it which took a lot of out of the pool otherwise my loses would have doubled easily. think "net loss" was around 1500?

I think for the year so far I'm down about 10% overall.

My wife's is down about 15% ytd, she lost over 800 this quarter as she doesn't have any new going in.

we just moved them all to the most conservative options available... can't afford to stay in anything anywhere near aggressive
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

I think I am down about 9%, but I have more than made that up in the stock market. I've been investing in the sinking of the financials for the last year and it paid off...

I would set my contributions to the max right now. It's a great time to invest!

the people that are really hurting now or soon are those living off their 401k (retired) and those about to retire.

in 50 years you think there will be a us? More like in 50 years there will be a huge number of separate nations residing where the US once stood.
