Default Anyone have a 9mm Luger Chamber Reamer I Can Borrow?

Seems none of my local gunsmiths have one so I was wondering if someone would be willing to let me pay some shipping and a rental fee instead of buying one. I have two AR9 barrels that have bullets engaging rifling when chambering a round so I need a little reamer action.

I guess I'll respond first, and I am not questioning your abilities just would like to know - Are these factory rounds or reloads? If reloads, is the OAL correct? How did you determine they were contacting the rifling - by just dropping them into the chamber or chambering a round with the bolt?

Happens with my reloads and factory rounds of various make. My reloads chamber fine in numerous other guns. I chambered with the bolt. When I do take the effort to knock out a chambered round with a rod down the bore, rather than shooting it out, I can see the rifling marks on the bullet coating/jacket.

I bought the first barrel from peacegeek for cheap as a factory second barrel or something. I told them about the chambering issue and they told me no one else reported an issue. They told me to keep the barrel and sent me a second one at no charge. It does the same. I can’t complain about their customer service at least.

Otherwise the barrel is 100% functional and I have already used it for a year of USPSA matches. I am just tired of my special way of unloading and showing clear.

Thanks for the answer. Sounds like the barrel manufacturer isn't going in quite far enough with the chamber reamer. If I had one I'd loan it to you but I don't, sorry. Hopefully someone on the western side will have one.

Almost sounds like you need a throat reamer, that way you dont affect headspace. I only have one in 7.62 though

Well a throating reamer is about $10 cheaper!
