Who can load my 300 win mag ammo?
Greetings,
I've got a custom 300 win mag 700 that takes a custom load my buddy helped me develop for it. Now we live in opposite sides of the country. I don't reload but I have match brass, competition loading dies, and 210 gr Berger VLDs. Need H1000 and Federal GM match primers.
Is there anybody that could load up a few of these for me? I'm fine with whatever is fair, but want someone meticulous for obvious reasons.

Re: Who can load my 300 win mag ammo?
As I recall we hit a sweet spot in batches #34-#36 for accuracy. My 24" Krieger barrel was producing around 2780 FPS with these loads. Not crazy hot for the load but accurate to 960m/1049yrds.

Re: Who can load my 300 win mag ammo?
It's not that folks here on PAFOA don't know how to reload (far many more than you could imagine actually do) - it's just the possible downstream liability for everything you could ever imagine:
1. The reloader's possibly deep pockets,
2. Your liability - but you haven't verified/certified the maximum chamber dimensions, OAL, etc, (although you did provide the reloading notes which is really good!)
3. Your new buddy's liability who shot your rifle with these reloads but never shot a rifle before,
4. These reloads who you sold to somebody else 10 years from now - and his rifle blew up for whatever reason.
5. An attorney who recently graduated from law school and is looking for his first client, etc.
I'm not being negative with you, for there are lots of PAFOA folks in your neck of the woods who are thoroughly skilled at reloading - for their rifles. Thankfully, I'm on the other side of the state and it wouldn't be cost-effective for you to ship the dies, powder, bullets, etc., but I would have loved to participate in this endeavor.
Yes, perhaps you could purchase rounds for this caliber at Walmart or your nearest gun store, but the accuracy may not be the same as you have become used to....
What you really need to do is learn how to reload - for your favorite rifle. It requires some investment in a press, etc. but it is a skill better learned now BY YOU that can transfer to other calibers you may become interested in....
Be sure to circle back and show us your targets!
Kindest regards- bamboomaster

Not legal to reload for others for money unless licensed.
Go buy a press and scale. Lee makes a very inexpensive starter kit.The Gun is the Badge of a Free Man

Re: Who can load my 300 win mag ammo?
Thanks guys for the important info. May I ask if anyone knows a company that might load rounds like this? I can barely find time to shoot. (Haven’t had a long gun out in a long time). No time for reloading until life changes. This rifle is useless with off the shelf ammo but AMAZING with these rounds. Thanks again.

Berger does make loaded ammunition now. I don't know how well it would work for you.
Since you have the load data, making the finished rounds doesn't take that long. In a few hours you could have a couple boxes finished. The majority of my time is spent finding what works in each rifle.
Google custom ammunition. I found the site below, probably the only way you will be able to get what you want without doing it yourself. Has to be expensive.

Re: Who can load my 300 win mag ammo?
Ok checking back in here. I have a pretty good list of a bootstrap loading rig. Anybody want to look it over and tell me what I am missing? I do have Redding competition loading dies, and a couple hundred Berger VLD 210 gr projectiles. I have plenty of once-fired match brass. Here's my shopping list so far:
RCBS Rock Chucker
Loading Table
Scale magnetic beam RCBS $50
Powder Trickler
Case Trimmer-Hand lathe
Primer Pocket Cleaner
Loading Block 50 rounds +/-
Case lube
Deburring tool, (pointed on one end and like a dart.)
Digital Caliper for OL and case mouth.
Bullet puller, possibly hammer type, make sure sized for 300WM.
Powder funnel.
Where the hell can I find these?:
Hodgkin H1000
Federal Gm 210M primers
Thanks again guys.
