    Default Lehigh Valley ranges

Hello all. I will be leaving the city and moving to Lehigh Valley in the next few months and am looking at area ranges.

Ideally I’d like a range that is less hunting oriented and more into competitive shooting(would like to try out PCC IDPA matches). Lehigh Valley Rod & Gun looks like a fairly good place although I can’t find too much current info on it. I believe it’s max range is 100yds and I would like more distance but it’s only a 15 min or so drive so it is worth considering.

Another option I found is Ontelaunee Rod and Gun but that’s a 40 min drive. Their max range I believe is 300yds and seem more into competitive shooting. Trying to weigh my options and if there’s another place I’m overlooking or is Lehigh Valley is worth it? They seem to be a little tough to join with the sponsorship requirements.

Any insight on these two options or others is appreciated.

Thanks, seems like they both are 100yds but competition shooting is a plus.

Does anyone know if Ridge and Valley rod and gun holds similar events? Also, is getting a sponsor there hard? I was trying to get into Langhorne and had to wait for my friend to be a member for 3 years so I passed since I'm moving now.

Thanks! I checked the site out and it looks nice too. I think I may be joining a couple ranges . They are cheap compared to memberships i've had at city ranges.
