Watched a documentary on Youtube about a guy who went exploring in the Amazon and had a dog with him.
Long story short, he lost his canoe and ALL supplies and was wandering the jungle, starving, and eventually killed the dog, but his body was so far into the state of starvation that he just vomited up anything he ate, so he killed his dog for nothing.

You don't go into that type of situation without knowing how to live off the land. Bear Grylls would have come out alive - with the dog no less!

I have a prepper question inspired by the insipid old white guy bravado I just read in the shoplifting thread.
Anybody know what a shoplifter tastes like (chicken) ? And how many of them do you need to stack in the chest freezer for say, 8 months worth of meals?

Q: How many shoplifters does it take to fertilize a field?

A: Maybe 3 or 4, depends upon how thin you spread them.

Not for survival reasons either! He British. They*re weird, and he likes drinking urine. I do not trust the British. They ain*t right.

They probably taste about the same as soccer players. And with a steady supply of fresh, why would you freeze?
