Looking at box, there's "4 servings" per item.
"12 servings" for the milk substitute.

So there's one pouch of each in the box.
I just opened one to confirm.
Example: Teriyaki rice is 10.58 oz (4 servings)
    Walked over to camping section...
Mountain House Chicken Fried Rice is 4.7 oz (2 servings) for $8.94

Yeah. Even if the foods aren't very "filling" and are very basic, the price seems damned good.

I have a bunch of Mountain House stuff at home that I've picked up on clearance.
    This will supplement it nicely.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

I recommend investing in a food saver. You can get them at Costco/Sam's for ~$100 when on sale. The generic food bags work fine.

Not only do I no longer have any wasted food (Single, still cook for a family), I'm repacking/portioning dry products and frozen meals for future use.

Food saver is also good for sealing/waterproofing other items.

A cheaper option is a used tin can and some sort of rag (or butt wipe) soaked in rubbing alcohol or kero that also makes a quick heat - em up stove.

I finally took the plunge and just bought a 3 month food supply off of Amazon and it was 30 bucks cheaper than the MY PATRIOT SUPPLY price.

Not much "food" in it, but I may pick up at least one.

I’ve got a bucket from Readywise that I bought from Costco a year or two ago. One of the things I’ve noticed since then is that Readywise is not very highly thought of.

I’ve read reactions similar to the ones in this thread at a few places over the last year. https://www.survivalistboards.com/th...#post-21024350

Should we experience any significant SHTF occurrence beyond a few days, you'll probably be glad you have it. Worst case, give it to someone else to gag down.

You're buying the food right out of the Ethiopian's mouths.
