Default Just moved in, it's like the PRMD again

I just moved into my new apartment and was excited cause it's PA and I can have weapons, carry weapons, etc.

Now I find out today my room mate is a gun grabbing democrat who says I can't have firearms in the apartment.

    I'm pissed.

Now I'm debating if I should consider moving out or not.

That would be like you telling him that he can't be in the apt. without firearms. Maybe it is time for a new roomie.

is your name on the lease? or is your roomie just renting you a room?

regardless, your property is your business. if you pay half of everything, then who cares what you have?

My name is on the lease and there is no firearms clause in the lease.

She said she couldn't believe I didn't tell her when I moved it. I said, it's like asking political views. She said she has a right to a gun free house hold, well don't I have a right to the private enjoyment of the part of the property I pay for?

I don't want to move though cause I just moved in there and shit.

F'ing liberals, and she's going to be a lawyer.

I would never have a roomate , but if I did , I would make sure we knew each other first . I wouldn,t live anywhere I couldn,t have guns -- might as well be in jail.
Don't blame me ; I voted for an American .

Tell her that you promise not to use your guns to defend her. That should make her feel better.

Get your LTCF and a good, secure lock box and keep your gun right under her nose...concealed means concealed! No one needs to know you have it.

ETA: Although, you are allowed to conceal in your home or fixed place of business without an LTCF, if I am not mistaken...!

she will either quickly come to one of two conclusions:

    1. that she has no such right if she shares a lease that does not contain a "no firearms" clause with another person; or

    2. she's going to be a terrible lawyer.

(my response to her would likely be...

"you do not have a right to a gun free household...and, as an aspiring lawyer, given that the lease mentions nothing about firearms, i suspect you know that. now, as for going forward, you can:

    a. accept that i have a right to own guns and keep them in this apartment and just live with it; or

    b. you can move; or

    c. you can pay for all expenses i incur by breaking the lease and finding a new apartment...this includes any fees and lost security deposits i am charged for breaking the lease, all moving expenses (the move will be conducted by a moving company), and any additional monthy rent i may end up having to pay to get an equivalent aparment.

if you do not actively choose one of these options, the default will be option a. now, wanna order some pizza?")

    I say....

buy your guns and live your life how you want to
    or
    find a new roommate.

    simple as that...

gotta love people who hate guns until a gun is used to save their life....heh
