My favorite part of that image is the sign pointing out where the men's room is. In case you have an AD, you might have another AD that needs to get taken care of!

Imagine being in the Men's room doing your business when someone has an AD right outside the door!

This. I only unload in my home or on a range, where I know what the safe places are. People make mistakes

I had something similar happen to me years ago at a pittsburgh mall. No signs on the door we came in through or the door they escorted me out to. I understand it's private property but not posting NO FIREARMS makes it subjective or whoever's working at the time's opinion on whether they should make the person leave. I don't open carry anymore because I don't care for attracting attention.

With the right lawyer, and especially arguing on free speech grounds you might win.

Of course, if you were an American Decent of Slavery you could also make a solid 13th amendment argument, as being disallowed to carry arms is the very definition of a badge of slavery

That case hinged on how the State Constitution of California was written and interpreted by the California Supreme Court. And neither court said that malls weren't private property. They just said that in California, as proscribed by the state constitution, common areas of malls are public forums for expressive conduct, but they are still private property. Furthermore, that doesn't apply outside of California, because the Supreme Court made a decision based on the California Constitution and how it was written. That does not apply to any other states constitution, especially as no other state supreme court has made a similar ruling.

You would not win that case.

I'll probably catch some flack, but I don't care.

I don't think malls/stores should be considered private property when it comes to restricting rights.

My home is private property. I don't allow the public to just come in during designated hours. I'm not "open" between 9AM and 9PM.

A store, and a mall, need the public to come in. Heck, they compel it with advertising and such.

    Same here.
In my opinion; If you allow the public to freely enter your "private property"; then you abide by public rules.

So you would be ok with people protesting YOUR business on YOUR property? Or even better, you would have no issue with a competitor marching through your property wearing a sandwich board advertising his business?

So, access to your home is by appointment only. Is that posted on your property?

Even public property can have limited access.
