Hughesville Show. March 7-8. "The new Pennsdale"
Hughesville-PA
March 7th. 9 to 4
March 8th. 9 to 3
$5 to get in and includes your door prize ticket.
I believe this is roughly a 120-130 table show but I'm not speaking officially.
2nd year in a row for this one I believe.
This is what came about after the Pennsdale show was not coming back online some years back.
Hughesville Volunteer Fire Department, 30 South Railroad St. located in Hughesville PA .....obviously

Still time to call a baby sitter , take a sick day off work , lie to the wife , embezzle funds or whatever you need to do
and make plans to be here.

Re: Hughesville Show. March 7-8. "The new Pennsdale"
Pennsdale was a fun show.
My favorite story of Pennsdale is ...
I was walking towards the front door , when a gentleman of maybe 80 some years of age .... OR LESS , I could be wrong , may have been younger , I'm a bad guesser.
But anyhow ,he was there helping the people run the show and he comes up to me saying .....what do you have there sonny a german Mauser?
I found that odd , as I was carrying a M1 and if you knew enough to ask of a german Mauser , you'd know enough to not make that mistake.
So like a big dummy , I'm like ..... no Sir , this be a M1 Garand blah blah blah ... and a german Mauser is blah blah etc , etc , etc......
as I'm explaining the difference to this guy ..... who I thought asked a honest question ..... guess what he starts doing?
Sumofabitch starts flipping and spinning my rifle around doing the Manual of Arms with it.
At some point , I realize I got suckered .... and he knew all along
So I just shut up and watched him finished , the wife and the bubba next to me thought I was going grab hold the guy.
But he got me a good one and I can respect that .....and I enjoyed watching him.... and the guy wasn't half bad.
The following show I went there and took a M1 Carbine with hopes I'd see him , but never did see him again.
Sort of disappointed bout that

Stopped by briefly today. Bumped into Gods Country (literally ) but wasn't impressed really. A couple decently priced things, but most stuff was kinda high for this area. Considered picking up a Ruger Wrangler from one vendor that had them for $179, but I ended up having to go earlier than I thought.

That's the cheapest at a show that I have seen , FYI , Elk county arms has them listed on sale at $169 and I believe if you buy it next weekend , there will be no sales tax.
I'm going on memory here so if you need me to double check let me know … but I'm fairly certain that is what I seen
