    Still vote an MP5 if you can get one at a decent price. Roller delayed blow back really makes a difference with how soft the gun shoots, and leads to less ejection port pop with suppressors. Reloading with the HK slap is fun (and proper). Plus all of the movies and video games and historical provenance...

    That being said, if it were a competition gun, there are definitely downsides to it. No magwell, no bolt hold open, and hard to seat when full magazines make for slow reloads, safety ergonomics can suck depending on which safety you have, and the stock triggers are far from crisp and light (though smooth).

    MP5 shoots the best but ergonomically is slower to reload than a CZ Scorpion.

    As I found with the CZ to get the best out of it, it's like a Glock, you gotta upgrade everything.

    Yeah that's no where near my price range lol. A friend found a clone for like 1300 but i don't see any that cheap.
