Default Stop The Bleed Class in SW PA (April 18th)

We are sending our staff to a Stop The Bleed class and the instructor has 25 slots left over. Tickets available now for just $10 for this 2-hour certification hands-on course on the proper technique on how to stop someone from bleeding out. These classes normally cost $20 to $30, so this is a great deal. Tickets are non-refundable, so don't purchase if you can't make the class.

This would be a great class and I have put off too long in taking a Tactical Treatment of Gunshot Wounds class.

Unfortunately I'll be out of town.

    Also on this date:
First day of Pa. Trout season.
    Pafoa group shoot at PMSC.
    Greene Co gun bash.

    Any chance of multiple dates?

It is a very good class, and not just for people interested in the shooting sports. It is amazing how misinformed people are about proper bleeding control.

For the record, the best Tourniquet on the market today is the Sam Tourniquet. I was impressed by it, which says a lot considering how routine they have become. They are engineered to prevent most of the user errors that occur in tourniquet application, are extremely easy to use, and effective. They’re the standard tourniquet in our ems council, and I was very skeptical about them until I got to use them.

    I've done it.
    Everyone should do it.
And everyone should carry a minimum IFAK/EDC in their car.
If anyone wants I can post up what my instructor recommended, and where I got it from.
It was like $130 or so.
