How to send a private message??

How do I message another member?

Click on user's name, select private message.

Or click on Profile, select Send Private Message on left side of screen, type in recipient name, and msg, send.

Or from the main Forum menu or from within a thread click on private messages, then send new message then type in name of recipient.

Naw. I just sent the OP a message, with the procedure I posted earlier. My Profile, My Messages, New Messages, fill it out, send.

I clicked on a members name, but I don't get the same drop down menu to send a message.
I get sent to their profile.
Says location information, total posts, users signature. I'm clearly doing something wrong?
