Default Was at the eye doctors yesterday

Just getting a yearly eye check, ever since my Dad lost his sight to his diabetes I decided to get mine checked yearly.

Sitting down in the chair my shirt lifted up over my CC gun.

"Oh you have a gun" says she

    "Yes" says me

"Is that allowed here" she says

"Yes, open and concealed carry are legal in PA, this will explain it" and give here a flyer.

"Thank you, been reading about that lady a lot in the paper, we haven't lived here very long, my husband hunts." her

"I don't hunt anymore, since I got mistaken for a squirrel once" me (have three pellet holes in my right leg were some jackass thought my boot was a squirrel while I was sitting against a tree eating lunch while hunting)

"Is it hard to be able to carry a gun around," her

"No, PA is a shall issue state which means unless they have a valid reason they will issue you a License to Carry a Firearm, you go to the county sheriff's office, they do a background check and mail it to you." me

"my husband will probably get one then" her

    "You should too" me

    Laugh, "no they scare me"

"that's because your not familiar with them"

We spent about 20 minutes talking about carrying and stuff like that, invited them to got to local range (hubby was at PSA last weekend for field day and like it there.

So anyway, my eyes are good, persciption didn't even change a lot so I'm good for another year.

Sounds like you had a good exchange. Are you into the bi focal's yet?

I had some trouble when I first got mine. I looked like one of bobble-headed dolls trying to find the right spot to look through. I should mention that I had to have several eye surgeries so this might have been the problem.
