Re: Annual Harrisburg Rally - June 8, 2020 - Save the date
Next question, is this a rally like VA where plate carriers and open carry is the status quo?

Re: Annual Harrisburg Rally - June 8, 2020 - Save the date
In the most recent years, most of the people were indoors in the Rotunda. After the main event, people would break up into groups to see legislators. There were a few people outside OCing, but a larger portion were inside.
This year sounds like it's going to be different, with everyone outside.

That depends on who you ask. Those guys who take our money and claim to be fighting for our rights think we should go unarmed as it makes us look bad. I think you should wear whatever you feel comfortable in as long as it's legal. After all...it is our right.
I would expect multiple yinzer flags and old fat guys hanging around together.Gender confusion is a mental illness

Bring, wear whatever you want and can legally do so.
Personally; I plan to wear my normal everyday clothes along with my everyday open carry handgun with everyday extra mags.
The extra stuff will probably be an AK slung on my back and extra AK mags on my belt. And holding a Navy Jack or Gadsden flag.--ET

Re: Annual Harrisburg Rally - June 8, 2020 - Save the date
My suggestion, if you have the time is to go through this thread. This question has been asked several times, and the general guidance is to do what you're comfortable with. Seeing as we'll be forced to stay outside and don't have to worry about checking pistols to go inside, it sounds like more people are going armed anywhere from having a sidearm to full "battle rattle" (tac vest + AR + other stuff). My suggestion is just to be there and show the support, regardless of what you decide to carry.
Edit: Personally, that will probably come down to the weather; having too much on if it's 90 degrees and high humidity wouldn't be very pleasant.Last edited by pens87pgh; May 27th, 2020 at 03:51 PM.

Galations 6:9...And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
