Help a Newb out. First time heading to the rally and I have a few questions, if I may: Where would be the best place to find parking? (F250, so no inside lots). Is there a rally point for PAFOA? And finally how about the uniform of the day? Full battle rattle? Hawaii shirts? Suit and tie? Long guns? Thanks in advance.

Hey smit, fellow Rally newb here as well. I have the same question about parking (F150 with a CB antenna). As far as a meetup point, I believe Justinhemi is setting up a POOFA table for us to meet at, the location of which is somewhere in this thread. For uniform, do what you're comfortable with. none, all or somewhere in between seem to be acceptable!

Welcome Smitty.

Wear what you want, carry what you want. We usually meet by the fountain but that might change this year since it's an outdoor rally instead of the normal inside, and there will likely be a crowd there. We'll figure it out.

Parking...just search for a parking garage online. I always park on the 5th Street garage and many others here do as well, very short walk.

Full battle rattle is in order if you want and I always park at the garage at 801 N 7th St. It's a few blocks away from the Capitol. My F-250 fits in there but it's not lifted. If you search the garages their clearances are part of the descriptions there.

You will see examples of all of that. You will see revolutionary war uniforms too. Dress and carry as you please.
