Annual Harrisburg Rally - June 8, 2020

Video of the "secret back door" at the River St Parking garage.... Google maps shows a similar barricade as those at the exit.... but as you can see in my video, it wasn't lowered, and there were no signs. I make no apologies for Huey Lewis.....

Yea...google sent me in that way too. Once I realized my FU, I walked down to get a ticket.....but no live bodies on site and you cant get a ticket without planting a ton or so on the pressure plate. I didn't try going the phone route the Royinmontco did, I was contemplating snagging an incoming vehicle to get them to trigger an extra ticket....but I found an exit without a gate that was barricaded. I removed the barricade, exited, U turned against one way traffic and re-entered the garage. The whole episode reinforced my previous time working for PennDOT that everything about PA.gov is F’ed up.

I didn*t realize that the founder of Kahr Arms was also the founder of the Moonies *cult*. Justin is his son. I don*t know about their religion, but their guns are good.

There was one of our guys there that actually wore a name tag that had his real name and POOFA handle. That would be SUPER HANDY for future rally's where new guys like us come and can easily associate names with faces.

That's OF&U. I love that he does that and think it would be a great idea if we all did.

I've met so many people in the 3 years of rallies I've attended and I feel bad if I can't put a face to a name after a year. Happened to me today, but don't take it personally if I have to ask your name.

I'd absolutely donate the tags and design a PAFOA template to write on...or even take orders so I can have them pre-printed for you. I'd bring some blanks too.

Something to think about for next year.

I'd also love to know more people on a first-name basis (if they don't mind) instead of a screen-name basis.
