" Super Duty Rifles" kind of a goofy name. At least they come with a good trigger.

A lot more value in those rifles than comparable offerings from DD or BCM.... Definitely interesting!

I have had the opportunity to handle them, but not fire them. I suspect like the rest of their products, that it will be a winner.

I suspect that Anderson has nothing to worry about in terms of lost sales. LOL

Nothing wrong with more AR15 options though.

From their site: says they do the barrels in PA, but not clear on lowers. This is the low end model.
The Geissele Duty Rifle 16” is a high quality, mil-spec rifle that meet the needs of cost conscious shooters who demand optimal performance and reliability. Chambered in 5.56mm, this rifle features a high quality Mil-Spec Super Duty receiver set, built with Geissele’s Super Duty Lower Parts Kit, including the Geissele ambidextrous Posi-snap safety and Super Duty trigger guard. A Geissele Super Semi Automatic – Enhanced (SSA-E) trigger will help you achieve the accuracy that this rifle was built for.

The barrel is an in-house Geissele 16” Nitride, Heavy Profile button barrel with a 1-7 twist rate. Our barrels are precision machined and button rifled at our state of the art facility in North Wales, Pennsylvania, utilizing the highest quality materials available. A mid-length gas tube and Geissele Super Compact Gas block ensures reliability and proper operation with a wide range of amunition. A high quality mil-spec Bolt Carrier Group and a Geissele Buffer tube with a Super-42 spring and H2 buffer ensure this rifle is built to last.

The handguard is a 15” version of our 13.5” MK16 Super Modular Rail, currently fielded by USASOC and renowned by operators for their performance and comfort. A classic A2 style grip, an A2 flash hider and a magpul CTR Carbine Stock round up this performance packed package.
Seems they do the final machining and finishing in PA.
The Geissele Super Duty Stripped Lower, made from a 7075 T6 aluminum forging, is precision machined and quality assured to the mil-spec standard at the Geissele facility. The Super Duty stripped lower is the heart of your next build, ready to accept your favorite components to make your next AR15-pattern rifle truly your own.

Not too many options on lower forging. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ needed to setup shop for forging.

They certainly aren't budget rifles, but still $200 or $300 less than BCM or DDs that have milspec triggers and charging handles...

I was just on North Wales Rd in North Wales tonight, I had no idea that's where they're located.
