    Default Thanksgiving Dinner

Family and I want to go out for dinner on Thanksgiving. We can't decide on a place. Doesn't have to be a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. We're looking for good food and atmosphere. What are your suggestions?

Well, it's not very close for you however the wife and I went to the Buck Hotel in Feasterville a couple of years ago. Family style, traditional dinner and we came home with more leftovers then we would have had if we cooked at home.

In that case, Walmart. I'll sneak y'all into the lunch room. I'm sure they will be serving turkey and all the fixins to us poor bastards who are scheduled to work. (I don't mind - if I really wanted it off, I'd have scheduled the day off months ago)

Mrs EM and I will probably do the turkey thing on Friday or Saturday, but going out to eat sure has it's perks.

Is it an OC event? If not I'll have to pass.

My suggestion is to stay home and thereby dissuade restaurants and other companies from being open on thanksgiving. Then, hopefully, they are forced to close due to lack of customer interest and their employees can spend the holiday with their family.

I reckon some folks actually need to work on T-day to make ends meet. Especially restaurant servers who depend on tips. Some folks have no family and don't mind working.

And some have family but work it so they won't have to spend it with them.
