Montco doesn't let you do same day anymore, if I remember correctly. Gotta go twice. It's stupid.

You can submit application via email and go once just to pickup. But you need access to a scanner (bias against people without money or old people who don't know how to scan). So with renewals it's not a "big" deal, but new applications you're waiting in limbo for up to 45 days while Barney Fife conducts the background check for you to carry the pistol you already had a background check for. All the while your stalker or violent ex boyfriend is waiting in the shadows.

Can you tell that I think we need permitless carry?

Yep. Respect for the constitutions, both of which say permit systems are unconstitutional. Government breaks the law, then demands that we keep to the illegal law it imposes. Pretty fucked up. One would think it should be an easy fix for any attorney.

For the life of me, I wouldn't forget to pick up my ltcf any more then I'd forget to get my dl or take kids out of the back seat. It sucks that we have to kowtow in order to get our constitutional rights, even worse when they're not important enough for us to make the effort.
Sorry, didnt read the entire thread and got here late

    You need to reapply.
You are not considered to have an LTCF in your present condition.
    Yup.

If you never went to "pick it up", it was never produced either. You need to be photographed for it.

Since it's been 4 years already, almost 5...you're almost due for a renewal just re-apply and PICK IT UP this time!

I think you'd check new application rather than renewal, since you don't currently have a valid one.
