    Default 6.8 AR Upper

Will a 6.8mm AR upper work with a standard 5.56 lower? If so what are the dangers in doing so if any?

    Yes it will. No dangers.
It is perfectly fine to put a 6.8 upper on a 5.56 lower.
I am doing one myself right now.
It is an SBR with a complete Lewis Machine & Tool 12" MRP upper (6.8spc).

If you have an existing AR in 5.56. All you have to do, is remove the upper and put the 6.8 upper on it and change the mags.
(Its as simple as that) Everything else works perfectly.
BTW, 6.8 mags hold 25rds, as opposed to 30rd 5.56 mags.
