    Default Parking for Philly LTCF renewal

    Apart from St. Chris's parking lot, is there any closer place to park while at the Unit?

    I have no idea where the unit is. Have you checked the mapping feature on your phone? Parking facilities are often shown on there.

    I'm almost certain that all parking lots in the area are private and do not allow use from outsiders.There are precious few sparking spaces along the street close to the unit but it still beats trying to find a spot or running out to feed parking meters at their previous location in my opinion.

    Unit is 660 East Erie Ave., appears to be 7 blocks East of St. Christopher's Hospital, the parking site that my iPhone directed me to. Doing a close-in 3-D look at the building, it appears there are many places to park for LE cars alongside, behind the building. However, there looks to be no on-street parking on either side. Looks like an Uber day.

    thank you, Sir,

    Yep, that's the way it looked to me as well. LOL I"ll just take Uber and not sweat it, assuming I can get one for coming back

    Thank you, Sir,

    I can't speak on Uber as I have never used them but I've always found a decent spot on the street along Erie Avenue.The last time I was there I parked right across the street from the place.

    So, when I arrive there and get in line, what's the drill? I get assigned a #, stand-in-line, wait for my # to be called, present my documentation to someone, wait in line, get my # called, get fingerprinted (I'm already in EFIS x3), go in for the interview (mine at MA Firearms Record Bureau lasted over an hour), told 'thank you, we'll let you know within the next 45 days", and then leave?

    Is that the drill?

    TIA TB605

    That's pretty much it.You have a seat until your number is called.

    One piece of advise no one mentions;

    Bring a book. Novel, puzzles, anything. Sometimes the group conversations are good, best to be prepared.

    This should be in the "what made you not smile today" thread. Absolutely ridiculous
