Why do you run the rear sight so far forward? I always tr to cram them as close to the CH as possible.

I’ve moved it back since I took the picture. I had never shot an ar pistol before and went with what made sense to me at the time. After shooting a couple of rounds that way I quickly changed it.

This is my 9mm pistol. I'm using Endomag 9mm inserts in regular P-mags.

I use the Endomag inserts too. Never liked the look of pistol mags in an AR.

How do these enomag inserts run? I’ve heard mixed reports however I get the impression that some were by people who never used them.

Would you trust the set up for HD?

My personal experience with them has been good. I only have three since they're ridiculously expensive so it's a small sample size, and it did take a little work to trim the follower on one to allow proper clearance of the bolt. But now all three have been 100% using a bunch of different bullet weights and profiles. Even flat-nosed stuff that out Zenith Z5RS doesn't like will run in these.

All that said, I don't really like the funky way the 9mm rounds sit deep in the middle of the insert. I might not use it as a HD setup but that's because it's in my head that it doesn't look right and certainly not because it isn't reliable.

So is that a "regular" .223/5.56 lower wince you're using regular PMAGs? Guess this cuts out needing a magwell adapter, right?

I'd like a 9mm AR pistol too and also hate the pistol mags look in them.
