I've seen one in person at target. When it comes to triple and a half time, you work the OT details.

A Kentucky man is banned from Walmart for life after posting a video to Facebook calling out Walmart for leaving their guns unattended. You know the things that the gun grabbers and liberal left claim are the root cause for mass shootings across the country. It would seem Walmart shares the beliefs but leaves them in plain view near the ammunition with only a thin plate of glass securing them unlike MOST sporting goods stores, pawn stores, and firearm retailers who secure the guns and NEVER LEAVE THEM UNATTENDED.

This comes shortly after Walmart decided to pull violent video game displays in the wake of the Dayton and El Paso shooting. Once again blaming an inanimate object for crimes instead of those criminals who perpetrate them.

There is no indication that he was open carrying in the initial video though so we dont know if the employees were discriminating or not. either way its fucked up.
Not saying it's right. But it has nothing to do with their recent change in policy.

So is the policy now "no open carry"? I thought they were just asking... did that change?

Well that would appear to be the case. The ask seems to have disappeared

We have to wait for the smoke to clear to find out what really happened. I don't know why the police are having him sign a document banning him from the store. The store manager should have done that.

There's a company website that can only be accessed by employees using their login credentials.
Tonight, while checking my upcoming schedule, I saw that there was "A Message from Doug McMillon", penned on August 6, 2019.
It reads mostly like the press release.

Another one penned on September 3, 2019 is addressed to Walmart associates - it addresses the carry/open carry policies.
It gets VERY Fudd-like at the end - and like a swarmy politician who speaks of a "long tradition of hunting" when speaking of his support for the 2A.

Anyway, in regards to carry, he says that...
"This morning we briefed your leadership team on how to communicate this change in policy to customers when needed, and they will be sharing that with you very soon. We treat law-abiding customers with respect, and we will have a very non-confrontational approach. Our priority is your safety. We will be providing new signage to help communicate this policy in the coming weeks."
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

When I still shopped at Target...they had those all of the time. And while they're doing that, they're not helping customers. Another reason to hate Target, the gay rallies.

On my way to the driving range today i stopped at the Walmart in Warminster just for the hell of it. No signs, no warnings, no acknowledgement at all about the policy change. Pistol ammo stock was pretty low, but they still had plenty of shotgun shells.
