Most of the time I go to Walmart is for one stop shopping - I can get ammo and get other things - paying for everything at the sporting goods counter is a good way to beat the front register lines. Now I have no reason not to buy everything non ammo related from Amazon / Costco / BJs - don't need to deal with the morons in the Walmart parking lot and the long register lines. Now I will buy ammo from companies that actually appreciate me as a customer.

Dang. That’s usually where I buy my ammo before I go plinking. I guess bulk online ammo purchases is the only way to go now.

It looks like Walmart has been trying to get out of the gun business for some time now. Whenever I go to buy range ammo, I have to hunt (no pun intended) somebody down to help me in the sporting section. Trying to buy a rifle is nearly impossible. Good luck finding an employee with the "special training".

Walmart has been left leaning for some time now. They're the main reason for the push in minimum wage hikes. They press politicians to raise it so that local stores can go out of business. Walmart can afford to pay 15 an hour, mom and pop cannot. Win win for Dems. They can virtue signal and collect big checks from Walmart.

Me too. My range trips are usually spontaneous so I'll stop there and buy a bunch of ammo. I'll have to do a better job of planning ahead now.

I suspect Wal-Mart gets most of its business from suburban and urban locations as opposed to rural. Demographics and cash flow rule.

Beat me to this topic however that is where I get most of my ammo. Now online will be the best for me. That's a shame.
