Default I finally got my Stribog SP9A1!

I've had it for a few weeks now, already got about 500 rounds through it which is easy to do with 6 magazines and LOVE IT! It's been a hit with everyone who's shot it, most importantly my wife who was pretty upset how much I spent on it. It's fully ambidextrous and I really appreciate the short levers on the safety because I have the same setup on my AR. I hate the long levers on ambi safeties. It has the Safety Harbor Firearms AR buffer tube adapter, SBA3 brace, and a Holosun 503GU Elite (green circle dot reticle). I've got the same sight on my AR but it's red. I prefer the green. Here it is next to my Rainier Arms/Cross Machine and Tool 16" AR for size comparison.

Those look cool. I remember reading the name when I first saw an ad for one and thinking "WTF???" Who NAMED this thing???"
I did read somewhere what the name means (something "cool" in another language), but I forget now.

Gotta go look for a comparison to a Scorpion.

Stribog is the Slavic god of wind and storms. I've shot the Scorpion and I prefer the Stribog. The grip angle and controls especially are better on the Stribog. Short safeties for example; everyone bitches about the ambi safety on the Scorpion digging into their hand but that's a non-issue here. It's an easy fix on the Scorpion but for what those damn things cost, you shouldn't have to change the safety, charging handle, grip, trigger to make it enjoyable. I was gonna buy the Scorpion carbine but for a $1000 gun, there were way too many things I would have to change. I got it from gun pro deals for $670 shipped with four 30 round magazines, added the buffer tube adapter ($50), SBA3 ($79), a few extra magazines ($24 each), your choice of red dot if you choose to use one and you've got one hell of a fun gun for shooting steel.

Made by Grand Power, excellent shooter, yes I agree it's better than any CZ Scorpion ,and I am a CZ guy. I am a Grand Power guy as well, I carry one every day! The Stribog is better than a glock mag ar pistol as well, extremely well built very accurate and now with the Gen 2 version a non reciprocating bolt handle. A rifle carbine version is coming.

It looks like a fun machine, you should bring it to the next Central PA Group Shoot.

The next Pittsburgh shoot is a lot closer - in both days and miles.

Under $700??? I thought all the ads I had seen for them had pricing around $1,200???
I never gave them a second thought based on the high price tags I had seen, but that doesn't sound outrageous at all.
