    CCI Mini mags work best. It will also shoot Federal American Eagle.

    Yeah, I have the 4.5" version. I have mostly shot Federal Champion through it, + a few AE. I often have FTF. I'll try out the CCI when I get the chance, thanks for the tip.

    I'm working on it, but there is only so much money in my gun fund ....lol

    The two P229s that I have are both .40s
    I do like the Equinox, but the finish on them is prone to scratches and I've got enough safe queens.
    My favorite P229 (and one of my favorite Sigs ) is my P229ST which I bought from a forum member.

    Do you have a EQ?
