    Default Buying online

Twice in the last two weeks, I've purchased a (used Glock 26) gun online through two separate gun shops through a layaway program only to get a phone call say that the item is out of stock. Both times my down payment was refunded to me.

Both of these places also have brick and mortar shops. It makes me wonder if they sold them from the layaway because they could get the money then and there as opposed to little by little through layaway.

I can't catch a break with this gun buying process. I just want to find a Glock 26 online with a reasonable price and fair layaway plan.

I thought layaway was for Kmart. Can't you lay it away in your sock drawer until you have enough?

    What's the fine print say?

Seems shitty, but maybe there's a policy that allows it?

Not much info to go on.

Layaway after two shootings is unlikely to happen until things calm down. GB has many used and great prices. No layaway unless you ask.

Maybe they oversold their inventory and forgot or were slow to remove them from their online sales website.

Finally got a hold of the shop. Turns out it was listed on the website for the wrong price. They pulled it off line, refunded me and are selling it in the shop instead with the correct price.
Kind of makes me mad they did that rather than honor the wrong price but it is what it is.

In the past I've done lay away gun purchases in person at stores but I never knew it was an option online.
