Default Finally picked up a GSG-5

Was out looking around and went to the Gander Mountain to buy some .223 to run through my AR on Sunday and thought I would just take a look in the gun case. Long story short, I also shot the GSG-5 with my AR. Very cool gun and very fun to shoot. I'm sure I'll be running a lot of rounds through this thing.

I looked over one at my favorite Gunshop on Sunday , its much better than i thought it would be, very well made, nice Balance, nice sights, ,.

The only thing i didnt like about it was that the magazine were a bit loose in the magwell , could be better fitted. Most like the Mags are a contract item so they need to get the contractor to improve the mag fit.

I will be getting one of these.

That's odd, my mag is the opposite. Very tight. When reloading, it was a little difficult to get the mag back into the rifle.

I got to shoot one at the group shoot #20...all I'm waiting for is the AK version and I'm going to be about $500 poorer.

The GSG-5 was just plain beautiful to shoot...

I picked up my GSG-5 several weeks ago and its great. Unfortunately, when they come out with the AK variant, I'm going to be about 500.00 poorer. Just gotta have it!!!!

    Good Move on the GSG-5.
I have one, and I absolutely love it. (bought it about 2 months ago on gunbroker for $460 shipped)
I shoot it more than any other gun I own....its a blast.
    Congrats on the buy.
    And have fun.

Thats good to hear guys about the tight fit of the Mags, That confirms my thinking that the mags are a contract item ,the one i handled saturday were way too loose, Glad i didnt get that one.

My dealer has them For $439+tax.

Are you Guys saying they are bringing out a AK version?
