got my LCTF
i just got my LCTF, only took the sheriff like 10 days i was impressed. Anyway I always read threads on here about CCW's, OC, CC, I know what the acronyms stand for, but I dont understand if a LCTF covers all of these? Do I have to carry concealed, or do I have to carry open? Is it my choice or theirs? Are there any different/special permits that I am unaware of?

Re: got my LCTF
To answer your question (though you should read the flyer for more details)
OC, on foot, anywhere in PA except Philly does not require an LTCF.
Transporting a firearm directly from place of purchase to home, home to range, range to home, home to shop, and shop to home does not require an LTCF, but you MUST go directly from A to B and MAY NOT make any stops between and the firearm must be unloaded with ammo separate (separate pocket of the range bag counts as seaparate). If you have an LTCF you may make all the stops and side trips you want as well as transport your firearm to and from anywhere at all.
CC requires an LTCF.
OC in Philly requires an LTCF
Transport of a loaded firearm in a vehicle requires an LTCF.
Carrying in a vehicle, OC or CC requires an LTCF.
I think i got them all, but definitely read the flyer. Please help my Baby Kitties and I avoid being homeless.

Re: got my LCTF
Well, the LTCF is okay, so far as it goes... BUT...
Several of us here have already begun work on acquiring the coveted LTCR.
