I'm a Bronze Member!
But don't laugh...that's all I can afford! I love this forum and I would donate more if I could. But $10 is all I had left in my Paypal account after paying ebay's ridiculous fees and topping off my tank. Plus, yinz ain't gonna have a private forum without me! LOL

Because of their strong financial commitment to the Pennsylvania Firearm Owners Association, members with Patron and Benefactor subscriptions are given access to the PAFOA Insider discussion forum, a private area where they can interface directly with the organization.

I am not sure how I feel about this new subscription thing yet. But I figured PFOA is a great cause so I joined up anyway. I know it was inevitable, but I was hoping that this forum was not going to go the way of the subscription.

I've been reading for a while, only stared posting recently. Just wanted to give something to the cause in a show of support ... even as a noob, I care.

Re: I'm a Bronze Member!
Well, as far as I know the site has always accepted donations, and donors had some perk (their name was a different color they got a different title??). That was all done manually and cost Dan a lot of time to keep up with. The change to subscriptions was made because it's fully automated, freeing up that time for Dan to spend elsewhere.

Re: I'm a Bronze Member!
I agree with nighthawk .. I was first upset by the subscription thing, but then realized the amount of bandwidth and equipment needed just keep the site up. If we all give a little, we'll accomplish much. Since I can't build computers and only found out last week that "bandwidth" wasn't a statement about my waist size or a measurement of db output on my car stereo ... I figured it best to send cash.
