    Thanks never knew that. I’m going to assume that was for the commercial market only.

    As mentioned the Swiss Luger, the original one was in 7.65mm. The BHP was for the commercial market in countries where you cannot possess Military calibre weapons. I also have a Star BKS with a 7.65 barrel as well as the 9mm. Quite nice to shoot. Dave_n

    The .30 Cal. Lugers we sold to quite a few countries. Most were made by DWM in Germany, though Switzerland later set up production at their Bern Arsenal.
    I have a second year production DWM made pistol. It's in excellent condition considering it's over 110 years old and the markings show it was privatized in 1947 to the Swiss soldier it had been issued to. I found the proper holster and a few extra magazines for it. It is unbelievably accurate. That .30 Cal. Luger round is HOT for its era.

    I know this thread is old as dirt- but wanted to give anyone who is interested an update : Lugerman has moved into a bigger space- still local. We now have an actual storefront/showroom too !!!
    The new location is at 1872 E Old Lincoln Hwy, Langhorne, PA 19047. We are actually having a greand opening tomorrow ( 9/19/2020) from 11 AM to 3 PM !!!
    Food, drinks, DJ, Raffle Etc !! come visit us !
