    The first one looks like the clerk seriously risked the lives of the people on the other side of the counter, including the little girl. Not the best move, but effective, nonetheless. Well done, I say, but not textbook.

    I agree.Can't really tell becuase it is an angular camera shot,can't really tell how clear the woman and child were,but it does look a little too close.

    IANAL, but even if the woman and child were clear, not a wise move as far as court room defense goes, on shooting the BG as he flees.

    The moment he started to run out, the threat was probably over in the eyes of the justice system.

    Great point and you sir are absolutely correct.Guess I was emotionally caught up in it.

    That's unbelievable that he fired with that little girl right there! I also find it hard to believe the mother never tried to shield or protect her child from the robber even before the shooting.
