300 Blackout bullet weight vs barrel length.
For those who use this round for self defense and hunting there is some good information in this video. I don't have any rifles chambered in this round so have no stake in the .300 Black out game.
It's worth the 27 minutes view time.

Re: 300 Blackout bullet weight vs barrel length.
I just messaged him on Facebook lol. He responded that most 110gn will do what it should, but it should be researched as the bullet weight goes up
My concern based on a few Youtubers that get into the bullet testing i.e. Andrew (Chopping Block/Arfcom) is that many of the .30 bullets are/were designed for .308Win velocities and fail to expand/perform adequately.
That's why I spend a little more and get .300blk bullets designed for .300blk i.e. Lehigh Defense.
It was a good video - I like Mike"It seems that the Constitution is more or less guidelines than actual rules"

Re: 300 Blackout bullet weight vs barrel length.
Yeah he's a good dude strait forward no bull shit with him and 100% dedicated to the 2A, and self defense. Until he mentioned it I never realized that a lot of the bullets used were standard .308 projectiles or that the heavier loads were traveling at 950 fps.
Not great for a self defense situation as far as I'm concerned.Join the GOA & save $5.00. https://www.gunowners.org/mac-subs-join-goa.htm

Think of subsonic 220 grain rounds as 45 ACP energy. Matter of fact alot of bolt gun guys use 45 load data. 6 grain of Unique or 4 grain of Clays makes some ultra quiet stuff but wont cycle a gas gun.
