No, NYS is not a shall issue state and they don't allow out of state permits. as far as I know the don't issue permits to out of state residents. it will likely take too long to get one even if you can get one. In brief, you can't get there from here.

NY state is May Issue, and only to residents. They do NOT honor other licenses. Leave it at home.

You cant even bring the firearm into the state without either attending hunting, a sanctioned shooting competition or similar function.

    Absolutely no means around it.

Thank you!! That right there is the funniest thing I've read all week!! Sorry, don't mean to sound mean.

Seriously, you'd have an easier time getting caught with a pound of dope than you would with a handgun.

I use to live in NY. You can not bring a handgun into the state without a license. You must be a resident and have a license. All handguns are registered and can not enter unless they enter through an FFL. So they can be legally owned hence full blown registration. you cant even touch a handgun in NYS if you dont have a license. criminal act if you do.

Long arms are a different story. Less regulated but check with state police to be sure.

I sent you a trade offer on your gold cup. For some reason I cant post on that thread,
