Question switching brand of mag primers

    Hi,

I am new to this site and I have a question about mag primers. I have been using cci 250 primers for my 308 loads and recently ran out. A friend of mine gave me a large quantity of wlrm primers so i would like to use them instead of buying more cci primers. Can I use the same powder charge or do i need to re-work my 308 loads with the wlrm primers?

It's best to start over & rework the loads. Better safe than sorry. I always start low & work up no matter what component I change in my loads.
