Default How To Build A Jacob's Ladder

I wrote an instructable on how to build a Jacob's Ladder from a discarded oil transformer. This is timely for a few reasons. First, it's furnace service season, so the local furnace shop will probably have some take out units available. Might even get them for free if you ask nice. Second, this is perfect for halloween. No mad scientist getup is complete without one. and third it's just cool.

lemme know if you seen anything that needs corrected.

Default Re: How To Build A Jacob's Ladder

Remember to run a wire from one of the "ladder legs" to your door knob, door bell, or other commonly touched metal objects. Oh to be young again...
"But, when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security." Dec of Ind.
